Greetings! Which will not be followed by an introduction. To get to the point, I'm April and I founded Van der Pop officially last year but, unofficially, the research started this time 2 years ago. So it's fitting that my Stash Check falls on the heels of a solo trip to Amsterdam. Kieryn (aka Miss Moneypenny) had the brilliant idea that I'd capture my stash-on-the-go to be featured for Mother's Day. Great plan! Then I went to Amsterdam and somehow returned with no pictures on my solo sessions.
But this is only true if we're only counting Amsterdam. Where prior to I was in Copenhagen, home of Christiania the city's own Red Light District with dozens of open stalls selling hash and flower. The effort was marked successful when I exited the commune with 4 strains of cannabis (Fruit Loops, Red Dragon, Super Silver Lemon Have, Danish weed) and a gram of hash. Mere minutes later, I did snap this as I prepared for an Opening Night performance at Royal Danish Ballet. So I did capture my stash while on-the-go. And it went a little differently than planned. Which can happen when sitting in a coffeeshop - or 6 - over the course of 2 days. Plus I assure you the picture in my Copenhagen hotel room is how the trip should be remembered.
Back in Seattle, my stash is getting impressively robust thanks to the kindness of others in the industry. Lots of gifts, which are in turn shared with anyone who comes around when my stash comes around. A few things may change from month-to-month but my 2017 stash to-date looks like dis.
It should be noted that "sentimental" has not been used to describe me. Ever. So no legacy pieces, which break, find legs or some similar fate destined when property of a person destined to be stoned. Perhaps I should request something special for Mother's Day. Why get sentimental at this point?
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! May your day be filled with more love than you can stand! But certainly deserve. Remember mothers are only human after all. So to protect ourselves and those we love, not a problem to call on the power of the flower. In any form at anytime. And certainly with a killer stash. Hoping you find a thing or two in my own to inspire your next session. xXx April
